Inwood Golf Course opened in 1931 as a course tailored to the accurate player. The the front nine was renovated 1989, adding water on six of the nine holes. Inwood demands good course management, precise iron play, and a soft touch on its fast greens. At 6,196 yards and a par of 71, players must navigate around a well-kept course that will test a wide variety of golf skills.
Inwood plays host to the Joliet Park District’s Open Golf Championship, as well as a number of events for juniors, seniors and ladies. Group outings are welcome for players at all levels. Individual or group lessons are available and taught by our staff professional.
Working on your game? Inwood provides a lighted driving range, a large practice putting green, and a practice area for chipping, pitching, and bunker play. Inside a courteous staff will greet you at our concession area/bar, and well-stocked pro shop.
Scott Hogan, PGA is a Class A Certified Professional in Teaching and Coaching. He has taught golf for 16 years after a competitive career. He has worked with several players developing them from triple digit shooters to Division 1 Collegiate Players. He has also helped players around the world break personal scoring goals both in person and remotely. Scott’s teaching philosophy is based upon his 3 years working with Mike Malaska and many other years working with TPI and other fitness professionals, to learn how to analyze and diagnose each individuals swings and work with what will be best for them to play and swing their best.
